| BPV-T-160 Tapped Whip This tuned, tapped whip enables direct connection of the HF transceiver without the need for an antenna tuner. Any frequency between 2-30 MHz can be specified (maximum of 15 taps). The antenna is built on a solid glass fibre core for maximum strength and impact resistance and features a unique bayonet-locking wander lead for tap selection. Other makes of tuned whips rely on a banana plug fitting which can often come loose in the high vibration environment of a vehicle mounted whip. This fail-safe feature eliminates a common problem in this style of antenna and it is not found on any other brand. NO ANTENNA TUNER REQUIRED. *Note: This antenna fits to the BPV- Base with BPV-TW- Adapter, or alternative bases can be supplied. |

| BPV-160 Heavy Duty Glass Fibre Whip The BPV-160 is a ruggedly constructed tuned whip built from a solid glass fibre core covered with a heavy-duty braided copper conductor and an insulating sheath. Solid construction offers greatly increased impact survival over hollow glass fibre whips and the insulating sheath enables it to be used in environments where there is risk of contact with high voltage sources such as fallen power lines. The fully enclosing braided conductor enables a very efficient transfer of radiated power. |

| BPV-AL-160 Aluminium Four Section Whip Fabricated from a unique Aluminium alloy tube with ultimate tensile strength of 96,000 psi and a breaking strength far superior to glass fibre composite or standard high tensile Aluminium. This antenna greatly exceeds impact survival tests for top range military vehicle whips supplied by other manufacturers. The antenna segments are joined by a stainless steel, bayonet style quick release system which is unique in vehicle whip design.
